What the FCX4000 changes in a workshop
A flatbed cutting table serves a different purpose than a roll cutter like the Graphtec FC9000: it handles sheets and boards (cardboard, foam, rigid plastic, rubber) rather than continuous vinyl. It's the tool for packaging mock-ups, masking templates, prototypes and short runs that need to ship fast — without running a large-format machine for a handful of pieces.
Key functions
ARMS — reverse-side registration
Automatically detects print registration marks, including on the back of the media, to cut and crease without ever scratching the printed face.
Simultaneous dual tool
Blade and pen (or PM-CT-002 creasing tool) mounted at the same time: a printed visual becomes a cut and creased piece in a single pass, no tool swap or re-calibration.
Distortion compensation
Automatically corrects deformations that occurred during printing by adapting the cutting path to the actual design rather than the original file.
Matrix copy and expanded cutting area
Multiplies a pattern on the board with 0 mm margin between copies, and cuts beyond the registration marks to use the full media surface.
Standalone operation
Job management by barcode from a USB flash drive, without a continuously connected PC — useful in a shared workshop.
Crack-free curved creasing
The new PM-CT-002 creasing tool reduces peeling and cracking on folds, including curved ones.
