Roland TrueVIS VG4-540 et VG4-640
Roland’s new flagship model for high-end eco-solvent print-and-cut
The TrueVIS VG4 series represents the next evolution in large-format print-and-cut technology from Roland DG. Designed to deliver smarter, more stable and higher-quality production, it meets the needs of professionals who want to produce output quickly, accurately and consistently, without adding complexity to their workflow.
Premium image quality, designed for demanding tasks
The VG4 utilises a new print head and Roland DG’s proprietary droplet control technology to produce sharper images, smoother gradients and more consistent colour reproduction. Combined with the True Rich Color tool, it delivers more balanced colours, cleaner neutral tones and improved repeatability on recurring jobs. This is a real asset for print shops that need to balance visual impact, colour fidelity and production consistency.

TR3 inks: greater flexibility, greater added value
The new VG4 series utilises TR3 eco-solvent inks in a range of configurations, from dual CMYK to extended 8-colour ink sets. Roland DG highlights in particular the addition of red, as well as orange, green, light black and high-opacity white, which opens up further possibilities for specialist applications and the accurate reproduction of brand colours. Jobs such as window graphics or certain high-value-added productions clearly benefit from this increased versatility.
A machine designed for long runs
One of the VG4’s key strengths is its ability to maintain a smooth production flow during long print runs. Its standard take-up unit makes media handling easier, reduces the need for manual intervention and stabilises the print/cut workflow. Roland DG also highlights a sheet pre-cutting function, which is useful for speeding up job separation and ensuring a smoother workflow when producing stickers, labels or decals
Cutting of long lengths with the media attached to the reel
Long cuts can now be made without removing the material from the reel, ensuring a smoother production process and reducing the need for manual handling.

Smarter driving in everyday life
The VG4 has also been designed to simplify the operator’s experience. Its 7-inch colour touchscreen allows users to quickly check ink levels, the machine’s status and pending jobs. Once the job has been prepared in the RIP, print jobs can be selected and started directly from the printer – a real advantage when the computer isn’t right next to the machine.

Unlock your potential with the Roland Versaworks 7 and Roland DG Connect add-ons
At the same time, the integration of VersaWorks 7 and Roland DG Connect offers significant benefits in terms of productivity, machine monitoring, remote control and reduced downtime. With modules such as Color Match, you can easily calibrate your entire fleet of machines to ensure consistent colour reproduction from job to job and machine to machine.
