 In brief

Do the maths on your folding station

How many hours a week does someone spend folding garments in your workshop? Multiply that by a loaded hourly cost. That is non-billable time, spent on the one step in your chain that has never been automated.

Labour time

240 pieces per hour on the full cycle: the machine absorbs the workload of an entire station. The person it frees up goes back to billable work.

Consistent presentation

An identical fold from the first to the last garment in a run of 500. The piece your end customer opens looks like the photo on your website.

Peak workloads

An order for 800 t-shirts no longer means an evening of three-person folding. Operator training takes two minutes.

 The differentiator

The last manual station in your workshop

Look at your production line. Film printing is automated. Powdering and curing are automated. The press is semi-automatic, or fully automatic.

Then someone sits down in front of a pile of garments and folds. By hand. Piece after piece.

It is also, mechanically, the bottleneck: your real production capacity is not your printer’s, it is your folding station’s.

  Folding by hand FoldFlex 100
Throughput Depends on the operator, and drops off late in the day 240 pieces/h, constant
Fold consistency Varies from one person to the next Identical across the whole run
Bagging An extra handling step Within the same cycle
Training The « house fold » has to be learned Two minutes
Order peaks Extra hands to find Same throughput, same station

One cycle, two modes

The operator lays the garment down, selects the mode and presses start. That is all.

Mode What the machine does Throughput
Fold + stack Folds and stacks up to 300 /h
Fold + stack + bag Full cycle, piece ready to ship 240 /h

The full mode is the one that changes your logistics: the piece comes out folded and bagged. For a workshop shipping single-unit print-on-demand, an entire step disappears between finishing and the shipping box.

The compressor is inside the machine

A practical point that matters more than it sounds: the compressor is supplied and built in — 1,100 W, 9 litre tank, 75 L/min, 4 bar working pressure.

No compressed-air installation to plan, no installer’s quote, no air line to run across the workshop. Plug the machine into a socket and it produces. For a garment workshop with no pneumatic infrastructure — and most have none — that is the difference between a simple purchase and a building project.

Foldflex 100 all industry

 Ecosystem

The missing link in the DTF chain

The FoldFlex 100 sits at the end of the line, on the one step nothing had automated yet.

Step DTF Station range
Film printing Prestige
Powdering and curing Miro and Seismo
Heat-press transfer Prisma
Folding, stacking, bagging FoldFlex 100

In a workshop already running Prestige + Miro + Prisma, it closes the chain: production becomes continuous from print to parcel. And it does not depend on DTF — it folds garments, whether the decoration came from screen printing, embroidery or DTG.

 How we support you

What Digital-sys adds

01The maths before the purchase

We look at your real volume and your current folding time. This machine is justified by a calculation, not by a demo — and if the numbers do not work at your volume, we will say so.

02Integration into your workflow

Where to place it, how to feed the station, how to chain it to your press output.

03Installation and follow-up

Commissioning, operator training, wear parts and technical support from our own team. Digital-sys is the DTF Station distributor for Belgium.

How much time do you spend folding?

Tell us your monthly volume and the time your team spends folding. We do the maths together before we quote the machine.
