Bare metal cannot be engraved with CO₂. Raw stainless steel or steel calls for a fibre source — let's talk it through before the order rather than after.

What to know before ordering
A laser table is never bought on its own
Extraction is not an option
Insufficient airflow means smoke in the workshop, quality that drops and lenses that clog up. Gravotech offers four systems from 200 to 500 m³/h that filter before discharge. We size it with you.
The compressor is fitted at the factory
If your workshop has no compressed-air supply, the compressor is built into the machine during manufacture. To be specified with the order, not afterwards.
The safety class depends on the configuration
The machine is class 1 capable — the configuration that allows installation in an office or a sales area open to the public. A class 4 configuration also exists. If engraving in front of the customer is part of the plan, say so at the quotation stage.
